Effective Minute Taking
Meetings have taken on a whole new look during the current lock-down with online platforms being
used to host meetings, although they are not the traditional face to face meeting, many still require
minutes to be taken to provide a written record.
The course is a shorter version of our one-day tutor led course, lasting only a couple of hours it is designed for anyone who may have to perform the role of minute taker at formal meetings.
The course explores the minute taker's role, the practicalities of note-taking, and producing a set of formal minutes that record the proceedings of a meeting.
The course covers topics such as: pre-planning, agenda, using a template, clarify decisions, record
taking, transcribing, distributing, filing/storing, tips & tricks.
No experience is necessary, and learning is supported through downloadable resources listed below.
