The union learning zone is a safe place for you to discuss any issues with your learning, assess your role and consider your options for the future. This is a facility for staff and family members. Union Learner Reps can help you access free and subsidised training courses, including:

• Literacy
• Numeracy
• NVQs in Business and Admin, Customer Services, ITQ (NVQ in IT) which is portfolio based, set on the level of ability, job role and desired progression.
• IT courses from Beginner’s to Intermediate, with support from centre staff at all stages.
• Numerous personal packages including, languages and personal development training, all at discounted rates, if you have to pay various payment plans can be arranged.
• Confidential learning support including support for applying for jobs, new career aspirations, and skills for the future, and much more.
